Wellness Cuisine: Healthy Cooking Class
A well-nourished body is an essential step towards a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Knowledge of the basics of healthy nutrition is beneficial to both home cooks and those preparing food in a professional environment. In this course, Chiva-Som’s experienced chefs will introduce participants to the foundation of Chiva-Som’s wellness cuisine and offer step-by-step guidance on basic kitchen skills, healthy cooking techniques and professional food presentation.

After successfully completing the Wellness Cuisine course, participants will understand the theory of Spa Cuisine and healthy cooking and will be able to compile and cook their own healthy spa cuisine menus.
Course Topics
Chiva-Som’s Wellness Cuisine course is more than just a healthy cooking class. It introduces participants to the foundations of Wellness Cuisine and Chiva-Som’s healthy cooking philosophy. Experienced chefs will share healthy product knowledge and guide participants through basic cooking techniques, including stock and soup making, healthy salads and dressings, and snacks and mocktails. Moreover, participants will learn professional food presentation techniques and will be taught how to create healthy main courses and spa menus.
Certification
After successfully completing the course and examinations, participants will receive a CSIA Certificate of Student Attendance in Wellness Cuisine.
