Spa and Wellness Management
A well-thought-out strategy and strong leadership are key to running a successful spa business. The Spa and Wellness Management training course is built on Chiva-Som’s decades of experience in the spa industry and shows spa managers how to streamline day-to-day activities and improve their spa’s financial performance. Through actionable insights and individual guidance, participants will gain the skills and knowledge to help them excel as spa managers, whether they’re already experienced in the spa industry or still at the beginning of their careers.

After successfully completing the Spa and Wellness Management course, participants will understand spa strategies, quality control and leadership management, and will be able to prepare financial performance overviews and asset management reports. Participants will understand the basics of human resources, sales and marketing, and spa program setting. All chapters will be accompanied by actionable tips and tools to help your spa business succeed.
Course Topics
This professional Spa and Wellness Management course helps participants position their spas and refine their target markets. It will cover subjects such as quality control (including spa presentation, service procedures and troubleshooting of common issues), leadership (including management styles, employee performance improvement and leadership tips and tools), financial performance (including metrics to measure, interpretation of financial results the consecutive actions to improve business). Moreover, the course will include guides on human resources (including recruiting, training, remuneration, evaluation and discipline), program setting (including the creation of treatment menus, pricing, and selection of product ranges), marketing (including the ‘6 P’s’ and their relation to the spa industry) and sales (including sales procedures, training, and monitoring tools). Finally, the course will offer practical tips to create effective retail displays for on-site spa boutiques.
Examinations
The Academy will conduct individual or group assignment towards the end of the course.
Certification
After successfully completing the course and examinations, participants will receive a CSIA Certificate of Student Attendance in Spa and Wellness Management.

Wanna Homsanoe
Wanna joined Chiva-Som’s spa reception team in 1995, gaining operational knowledge and practical spa therapist training. She earned qualifications in Spa Management and Therapist Training at Chiva-Som Academy in Bangkok in 2004 and cross-trained at The Sanctuary Day spa in London in 2006.
Pilailuk Thongtan
Pilailuk Thongtan (Bebee) is one of 50 Spa Therapists/Trainers certified by the Thai Spa Association. With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in spa management, health club operations, wellness coaching, and spa concept development in Australia and India.
