Hand, Foot, Nail and Waxing Treatments
Hand, foot, nail and waxing techniques are some of the most important skills for a beauty therapist. In the Hand, Foot, Nail and Waxing Treatments course, Chiva-Som’s expert instructors will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to offer their clients a complete pampering routine. Participants will learn how to file, shape, mask and polish nails, and perform cuticle work and hand and feet massages. Participants will also learn how to effectively wax all areas of the body, including the bikini line and eyebrows with different waxing techniques.

With the course’s practical approach, participants will be able to safely and effectively perform the treatments in a professional capacity.
Course Topics
The Hand, Foot, Nail and Waxing Treatments course offers an introduction to the physiology of the hands and feet, bones, nails, muscles, and their blood supply systems. Participants will learn about hair and skin structures and their functions, and will be taught about the benefits and contra-indications of the various treatments. In a real spa environment, participants will practice nail treatments, hand and food massages, different types of hair removal and waxing techniques, and will be equipped with the skills to conduct professional consultations and advise clients on aftercare and home care routines.
Examinations
The academy will conduct both theoretical and practical examinations towards the end of the course, while the Examining Board will issue separate CIBTAC examination dates annually.
Certification
After successfully completing the course and examinations, participants will receive a CSIA Professional Certificate in Hand, Foot, Nail and Waxing Treatments.
