About Chiva-Som International Academy
Established in 1995, Chiva-Som’s flagship resort in Hua Hin has received numerous awards for its exceptional services in health and wellness. In 2003, Chiva-Som International Academy opened in Bangkok to meet the wellness industry’s increased demand for qualified therapists who can deliver treatments with Chiva-Som’s renowned substance, efficacy and warmth.
Now open to students around the world, the Academy’s curriculum is guided by our mission to share our evidence-based wisdom in the fields of Physiology, Nutrition and alternative therapy with the wider wellness industry. Our courses are rooted in Chiva-Som’s holistic approach to wellness and enrich participants with professional skills and theoretical expertise to prepare them for a successful career in the fields of health and beauty.
Accreditations
Approved by the Thai Ministry of Education and accredited by the Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (CIBTAC), the Academy’s courses lead to CIBTAC qualification.

Hours of Instruction
A regular course requires between 30 and 90 hours of study and practice. Participants will receive an attendance certificate after completing a 30-hour course, and a professional certificate upon completion of a 60 or 90-hour course. Diploma programmes comprise of two to four courses and requires a minimum of 120 hours of training. Upon completion, participants will obtain a Diploma certificate and a certificate licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education.

When the enrollment is confirmed, please submit your payment and enrollment documentation as follows:
Payment Policy
· All applicants must ensure to make a 50% deposit of the total course fee when enrolling in a course.
· The remaining 50% of the course fee must be paid on the first day of the course.
· Those who fail to complete the payment on the first day of the course are not allowed to participate in the course.
· The course and diploma fee excludes the CIBTAC ex-amination. The CIBTAC examination fee must be paid in full on the registration date.
· For participants unable to attend the course, the de-posit will remain valid for a period of 2 years from the date of issue of the official receipt and is trans-ferable to any alternative course. Please be informed that all fees are non-refundable.
