Chiva-Som International academy is currently seeking 5 trainee teachers to join our International Spa academy teaching team. We are offering a unique opportunity for the right candidates to join us. There are two intakes; the first Intake will be in July 2007 and the next will be in March 2008.

Suzie Craddock
New Academy Director who has been on a life long spiritual journey that has taken her into the study of philosophy, psychology, various spiritual traditions and now deeply into the Buddhist way of life... She believes Mind body and Spirit is the natural philosophy of intergrative medicine.Suzie is a specialist In spa education having had her own International health and beauty college in Australia for 23 years.
She now is interested in intergrating her knowledge of therapies with movement and believes that spa programs should be aimed at fostering meaningful creative relationships with the world.She is a natural healer author, presenter, advocate, creator, speaker, educator and mentor.
She has worked extensively with children,(having had 4 of her own !) adolescents, and groups in a variety of settings -- Suzie has also extensive spa educational experience in helping people grow spiritually and develop more intimate connections with the Sacred.
She is skilled in counseling, spiritual mentoring, presenting workshops, leading small groups and retreats and has a passion for helping people find the positive in their daily lives. Spiritual Directions encompasses many of Suzie's gifts as it provides a place for personal and spiritual growth in the spa academy.

It was a sense of recognition and congratulatinos as well as a sense of sadness that we said farewell to Khun Fha whom we farewelled in February.
Khun Fha was successful in a round of academy promotions to go to Australia to complete her Diploma in Naturopathy for 2 years
As a physiotherapist she was already well known in Chiva-Som resorts before she joined Chiva som academy in...
Khun Fha quickly established herself as a respected colleague with a dedication to students and a great knowledge on the physical therapies. Her calm and professional manner will be missed and this is a good opportunity to wish her success in Australia and looking forward to her return.
