Mukha - Shirodara

BENEFITS
A combination of two ancient healing systems, Ayurvedic Face Therapy and Ayurvedic Head Oil Therapy, with massage techniques that focus on the face “Marmas” and “Shirodhara” (”Shiro” meaning head and “Dhara” meaning flow). The pouring of warm oil on the forehead has a tremendous healing effect especially on the nervous system. It releases blocked energies, clear and calms the mind, and works on all levels of one’s being from the physical to the spiritual

AIM OF COURSE
• To enable candidates to perform safe and effective Ayurvedic Mukhabhyanga Face and Shirodhara Treatment
• To enable candidates to achieve a CSA Certificate of Attendance

ENTRY LEVEL
A person displaying a high level of interpersonal skills, excellent communication and listening skills, empathy, patience, tact, diplomacy and time keeping with a well groomed appearance and a mature disposition

DURATION
Monday – Friday (9.00am – 4.00pm)
1 week (30 hours)

EXAMINATIONS
The academy will conduct examinations towards the end of the course
Theory : 45 minutes (multiple-choice examination)
Practice : 90 minutes
