CIBTAC
Chiva-Som International Academy is accredited by the Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (CIBTAC) which is known for its high educational standard in aesthetics and holistic therapies. CIBTAC is the education arm of the British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC)
At the end of the course, students who require CIBTAC qualification will have to register in period of 3 months in advance in order to take theoretical and practical examinations administered by a CIBTAC international examiner. Only those who pass the examination in all segments are awarded the highly coveted and internationally recognised CIBTAC diploma. A CIBTAC diploma certifies that the student has obtained the highest level of practical skills and full understanding of the course and is qualified for international employment
Normally, CIBTAC examination will be offered 4 times a year

Examination: April 2009
Registration Deadline: 7 January 2009
Examination: July 2009
Registration Deadline: 7 April 2009
Examination: November 2009
Registration Deadline: 11 August 2009
Examination: February 2010
Registration Deadline: 6 October 2009
- The exact examination date will be anounced by CIBTAC
- Chiva-Som International Academy will organised the CIBTAC examination if only 6 or more students registered for the examination
- Students who have experienced in spa business for at least 2 successive years and would like to take the CIBTAC examination will not have to take the full CIBTAC courses depending upon the appraisal results by Chiva-Som International Academy
A CIBTAC diploma certifies that the student has obtained the highest level of practical skills and full understanding of the course and is qualified for international employment.
